At the age of about six, I would watch my parents
paint and draw for hobby. They were amazed at how interested
I was in what they did. I remember those days in school I would
get in trouble for "doodling" and sketching while
the teacher was lecturing. All my life I have been inspired
by art of all types. In college, my professor called me the "Portrait
Artist," due to my interest in drawing and painting detailed
portraits of people.
Presently, I travel from city
to city (in Texas) sketching portraits/caricatures and airbrushing
t-shirts. I'm proud of owning a business that I love doing!
I couldn't of done this without God and the support of my two daughters, family, and friends. I thank my teachers,
customers,
and Chuck Gant of "National Webworks," for the
design of my website! Finally, I would like to thank Ashley
Cook (Lufkin
Daily News) and Gary Wilman (Diboll Free Press) for their
article on my 9-11 series (displayed Sept. 10, 2004). |
